3rd Annual Gin Tasting Bash

Another successful gin tasting evening was held on Friday October 11th at Gwin Llyn Wines. We had 26 gin lovers tasting 10 gins over the period of the evening and from the feedback we’ve had, it was a rip roaring success.
We were very fortunate to have the support of the lovely Fiona Lewis from @cariad distillery and the equally lovely Rob and Maria from @Llanfair distillery.
Between them they showcased 7 of their gins. Rob also brought along their now famous Swellies Spiced Rum. Maria and Rob included their blackberry gin and Fiona’s lemon and lime gin proved a great hit. All the gins and rum are now in stock at Gwin Llyn Wines as well as Cariad’s cute 100ml gin mugs; perfect for those Christmas gifts.
Sales were booming as we offered £5 refund on any bottle of gin bought on the night. If you forgot to pick up your purchase , we will honour this fantastic offer up till Christmas.
Now that we’ve caught our breath and sorted the shop out we are now ready to release the date for our annual Christmas wine tasting. It will be on Friday November 8th and this year we are holding it at Pwllheli School of Dance studio which is literally just up the road on Gaol Street. We thought the venue will offer a more comfortable environment for the tasting as there will be more space and will allow us to invite another supplier which means more wines for you to sample!
As previous years there will be no charge for the evening but, if you would like to attend, let us know and we will give you tickets. The event always proves popular so, to avoid disappointment get your tickets sooner rather than later!!
