January Blues

January has nearly run it’s course and those who decided to go dry, we salute you, and we are more than ready to welcome you back with open arms and empty glasses!

The annual wines tastings are now in full flow and we are looking forward to visiting the events in the next month. We will strive to find some new beauties to tantalise your taste buds and fill the shelves at Gwin Llyn Wines.
Before all that happens, the eagle eyed will have noted we are finalists for the Drinks Retailer of The Year 2019 (again!) and we must go to that London Town to that swanky Dorchester Hotel to be wined and dined and hopefully (fingers crossed) bring home the trophy to Pen Llyn.

We are always trying to bring new ideas into the shop and we’d like to run this by you.
If you are planning a special event this year or would like to do something different for a birthday, anniversary or just a Saturday night, have you thought about us hosting an evening of wine with your friends in the comfort of your own home?
We would come along with a box of wines suited to your own specification and all you would need to do is invite your guests, arrange nibbles and sit back and relax. No babysitter to arrange or taxi to book!

Cegin Crug do fantastic tapas and we’re sure would complement the chosen wines. Just an idea!

The evening would be very informal with Dean giving you some insight into the wine and Margaret keeping your glasses topped up. Price of the evening will vary to your individual package. Contact us for more information. Unfortunately we won’t be available during the peak months or bank holiday weekends as we will be busy in the shop.
